Job Title: Business Development Director

Bert Thin Films, LLC is currently looking for a Business Development Director that will lead the company in formulating and executing a business plan towards a successful exit. This individual will:

  • Contact potential clients within the solar panel manufacturing value chain to establish a rapport with select strategic contacts,

  • Create a business plan in cooperation with the CEO and Board of Directors,

  • Execute in accordance with the established business plan,

  • Plan and oversee new client initiatives,

  • Develop goals for the R&D team that align with potential client needs, and

  • Communicate plan and progress to the CEO.


The business development Director will report directly to the CEO and will communicate directly with potential clients. Some travel may be required and may include international travel. The minimum requirements for the position are a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field with at least 5 years of experience in the solar manufacturing field. The candidate must be capable of managing multiple potential clients, have a demonstrated history of being a highly motivated self-starter and have the ability to achieve the desired goals with minimal guidance. The candidate should also have very good communication skills and be able to interact with a highly technical R&D team. 


Compensation will be commensurate with experience which includes a competitive benefit package and ownership opportunity.
